About the Role

The Operations Manager is the backbone of execution at TRAXS.

This role is responsible for ensuring freight moves efficiently, customers are supported at a high level, and internal processes run smoothly. You'll sit at the center of communication between customers, carriers, and internal teams - solving problems in real time and keeping shipments on track.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee daily shipment execution from pickup through delivery
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for operational issues and escalations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and customers
  • Track shipments, resolve delays, and proactively communicate updates
  • Ensure accuracy across systems (TMS, tracking, documentation)
  • Partner closely with Account Managers to support customer needs
  • Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors
  • Maintain high service standards in a high-volume environment

What We're Looking For

  • 2–5+ years in logistics, brokerage, or supply chain operations
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think quickly under pressure
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication - clear, direct, and professional
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities at once without dropping the ball
  • Experience with TMS platforms (Aljex preferred)
  • Team-first mindset with a strong sense of ownership

What You'll Do

  • Bring and grow your existing book of business
  • Prospect, call, and close new customers across target industries
  • Manage customer relationships end to end
  • Price, quote, and win freight with speed and confidence
  • Partner with our ops team to execute and cover loads
  • Stay close to your accounts - repeat business is the game
